Invisalign Invisible Braces......
available at Fine Dentistry Dental Studio, Canterbury, Melbourne
If your teeth are crowded, unevenly spaced, or have shifted since you last wore corrective braces, Invisalign “invisible” braces can help you attain that eye-catching smile that only straightened teeth can give you.
You Can Have Whiter, Straighter, Healthier Teeth and Finally Smile With Confidence Without Wearing Metal Braces...at ANY age!
Congratulations on taking the steps to find out how you can have a more attractive, whiter and more confident smile. Recent advancements in technology can turn your smile into the smile you've always longed for in a short amount of time without the need to wear metal braces.
When you look in the mirror and see teeth that you don't like, you can now make them straight and white with ease.
Having crowded teeth can cause them to function improperly:
- Our body was made to work together in harmony
- When teeth are crooked, they can become worn down and sensitive
- Chipping can also occur placing far more stress on certain areas that usually can’t handle these forces
- Crowding can result in gum disease and loss of the jawbone and as well problems in the jaw joints
.......Not a good scenario!
It is far better to straighten your teeth to prevent major dental problems than spend thousands of dollars trying to repair severely damaged teeth.
There are several ways to improve your smile
......whether the teeth are crooked and/or discolored.
Dentists now have the technology to straighten crooked teeth without metal braces!
...... This technology is called Invisalign
Invisalign consists of a series of clear plastic straightening trays (aligners) that slip over your teeth. These straightening trays (aligners) are very thin and very comfortable to wear – they look and feel like ultrathin sportsguards. Each tray gently moves the crooked teeth into position over a period of 6-15 months, depending on how crooked they are to start with. When you get to the final tray (aligner), your teeth are straight!
We all want to be attractive - we dress up, we get our hair and makeup done just right. Yet one of the first things people notice, the one thing that makes a lasting impression, is our smile. Without a great smile you just don’t look your best.
Many people are unaware of how much of an impact their smile makes when being introduced to people, the level of respect they are given, or even how much it affects their relationships with members of the opposite sex.
If you don’t believe me, try to find a magazine cover showing someone with crooked yellow teeth. Whether we think its fair or not, this is the way our society works (with the exception of Jessica Hart!)
A great smile can open many doors!
If you have come to this webpage, I’m guessing you are experiencing one of these problems or situations:
- Stained or discolored teeth
- Worn teeth
- A crooked smile
- Or you really like your smile, but you know it can be even more beautiful!
About How Much Does Invisalign Cost?
The fee for Invisalign varies greatly from one dental practice to another.
It is impossible to quote an exact fee for your treatment because quite frankly, everybody reading this has different treatment needs. Patients who only need a small amount of correction pay less than patients requiring more significant changes. As a general rule, Invisalign treatment at our practice for small cases starts at $4,500 and full treatment for more involved cases is $8,600.
While there’s no way to know exactly what your dental treatment will cost until after Dr Allen reviews all the aspects of your unique situation, these broad guidelines on cost assume that your mouth is 100% healthy and free of tooth decay, broken teeth and gum problems.
Dr Allen has developed a complete dental examination just for the purpose of eliminating the guessing, so you can get your one-of-a-kind, BESPOKE options with complete costs and length of time for your treatment.
......No hidden surprises and no hidden fees.
We offer several flexible financing options to allow your treatment to fit into your budget.
The Truth About Your Smile
...How to Get More Respect, Impress Others, and Look More Attractive!
Let’s face it; we always want to be the best we can be. We know that if we take care of ourselves that we feel better, more energetic, and have high confidence in what we do. We can also agree that when we look good, others are attracted to us. It’s all about positive energy. No one wants to be around someone that mopes around all day. Or who doesn’t take care of themselves, including their smile.
So many people come to our practice and ask us to fix or improve their smile before a special occasion - whether it’s a wedding, a vacation, a job interview or new job or a graduation. We love seeing people leave Fine Dentistry Dental Studio with a whiter, brighter, straighter smile.
Make A Commitment To Yourself To Improve Your Smile Today
Crowded teeth are also more likely to have gum disease than straight teeth. Many people don’t floss because their teeth are crowded and tight making it difficult to get the floss between them. When they do finally get the floss in the right spot, sometimes the floss breaks and then food, germs AND floss are stuck between the teeth!
When the teeth are nice and straight after Invisalign, the floss can glide through the teeth like silk. Flossing is now very simple. And the gums become healthier and stronger for years to come. So why wouldn’t you want to improve your teeth, your smile, and your gums all at the same time?
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I eat and drink normally?
A: Yes. The Invisalign Trays are removed to eat and drink.
Q: How long do I have to wear the trays each day?
A: The trays have to worn for a minimum of 22 hours each day. You take them out to eat and drink.
Q: What if I have something special on?
A: You can take the trays out for up to 4 hours at a time if it is only very occasionally.
Q: Is there any discomfort involved?
A: When you first start your treatment your teeth may ache for 1 or 2 days until the teeth start to move and loosen up. After this initially period you may get the occasional ache.
Q: How easy are the trays to get in and out? Can I mess it up?
A: They are very easy to put in but initially can be a little tight and hard to remove until the teeth start to move. They can only ever go in one way – you can’t ever mix up the top and bottom trays!
Q: Will the trays affect the way I speak?
A: Yes. Initially for the first week you may lisp “S” sounds until you get use to the thicknessof the trays in your mouth. You may also hear the trays touching at the back of yourmouth as you speak, for the first week.
Q: When you quote the fee will this be all inclusive with NO hidden surprises and no hidden fees?
A: Yes. When we quote your fee this will include the fee for the required x-rays, impressions and photographs of your teeth, as well as for up to 5 phases of treatment. Your initial phase has the majority of aligner (straightening) trays. The next 3 phases are called refinement phase 1, 2 and 3. Not everyone require all 3 phases of refinement. Most people only need one refinement phase. However if you need three sets of refinement trays, they are all included in your fees. Refinement is where we spend a little bit of extra time and effort getting your teeth perfect and each phase can have 5 or 6 sets of trays. The final phase is what is called “Retention Phase”. This is the all important last step we take to ensure your teeth remain in exactly where we put them. This may either be a set of trays similar to your Invisalign Trays or a very thin wire that is glued to the back of your top and bottom teeth.
Q: What if I have holes in my teeth or unhealthy gums?
A: Your treatment cannot commence until all holes are properly fixed and your gums are healthy. We will quote separately to return your mouth to health before starting Invisaligntreatment. During Invisalign treatment it is very important to keep your teeth and gums healthy and ensure that there is no tartar buildup that can prevent your InvisalignTrays from properly fitting over your teeth. We suggest 6 monthly cleaning with a dental hygienist and a separate charge is made for this treatment. If you do need any filling during treatment, it is very important that the fillings are properly adjusted with your InvisalignTrays to ensure they still fit and work properly.
Q: Are they really invisible?
A: Well, almost invisible! There is a very slight line where the Invisalign tray and the gum meet as well as very small bumps that we put onto several teeth which are the same colour as your own teeth. These help to move the teeth and are barely visible.
